Local Government Engagement

This group will focus on being involved with our local government by attending city council meetings and other county and school boards. Engage with state and regional legislation that affects Roseville and Placer county. Learn how local government works and become informed about local issues, ballot measures, etc and to help educate and inform others.

Voter Outreach and Elections

Help with voter registration efforts and other voter outreach and engagement activities, such as Downtown Tuesday Nights voter registration, canvassing, phone banking, Get Out the Vote, and high school new voter education.

Community Service and Activism

Find ways and opportunities to support our community thru cleanups, food drives and distros, shelter support and more. Work with local nonprofits to support their efforts in our community and find ways for our club to be involved. Represent the club in the community. Organize, support or attend rallies, marches and protests.

Events and Fundraising

Planning social events and activities to build community, like dinners, coffee shop meetups, a walk in the park, political trivia and icebreakers. Help build club membership thru activities and outreach. Planning and hosting an annual fundraiser event to support the club, scholarships, candidates, local orgs and the club’s other ongoing actions.
